Q: Where does FAXBridge get installed?
A: FAXBridge is installed onto a Windows server by an IT administrator. It is then shared over a network with client computers using the Microsoft Fax fax console.
Q: Will there be any changes to the way the InterFAX service works?
A: InterFAX users will send and receive faxes through desktop application- MS Fax - instead of using email.
Q: How will users receive their faxes?
A: Faxes will be received directly into MS Fax's Fax Console. The console combines all faxes, sent and received into a single application.
Q: How do users send faxes?
A: Users are able to send faxes directly from the Fax Console using the Fax Wizard as well as from Word, Excel etc.
Q: Can a user set the paper size when sending a fax?
A: No. Paper size will automatically be set by Fax Console.
Q: Does the Fax Console work in the same way as it would normally do for MS Fax users?
A: The Fax Console will work as standard but will use InterFAX as a replacement for the modem.
Q: What are the main differences to the standard service?
A: Faxes are received as TIFF’s in the Fax Console - Inbound Preferences in the InterFAX Control Panel must be set to receive faxes as TIFF’s. (Group 4)
